Mineral Raw Materials

Iron oxide

During the production and processing of steel, iron oxide is produced as a by-product, e.g. in the form of mill scale, fine scale, coarse scale or slags. However, iron oxide also occurs in nature, e.g. in clay or slate. What they all have in common is that they have a high proportion of Fe2O3.

Secondary iron oxide or iron oxide substitutes have a long tradition at HVL. Anyone familiar with this topic knows that it is not possible to give a general specification here. If you are interested in mineral substitute raw materials, we look forward to your enquiry. Which product is best suited to your application must be determined individually according to your requirements. We have many years of know-how and partnerships in procurement, analytics and logistics.
