Frigutec® HDC-SF with nitrite is a silicate-free engine coolant concentrate for heavy-duty engines based on 1,2-Ethanediol (MEG) and state-of-the-art organic acid technology (OAT). This coolant has been specially developed for improved cavitation protection in heavy-duty cast iron engines. Frigutec® HDC-SF is a silicate free alternative to our silicate containing Frigutec® HDC. Frigutec® HDC-SF provides an excellent protection for the engine cooling system against corrosion, overheating, and frost.
Frigutec® HDC-SF has been specially developed for heavy-duty cast iron diesel engines operating under special operating characteristics with a long duty cycle at or near the maximum rated conditions. Such engines are typically used in off-highway machinery for agriculture, mining, earthmoving, construction, high power stationary engines, locomotives, and marine engines.
Frigutec® HDC-SF is free from 2-ethylhexanic acid, borate, amine, phosphate, and silicate. We recommend Frigutec® HDC-SF only for vehicles where nitrite containing coolants are specified according to ASTM D4985 and ASTM D6210. For all other heavy-duty engines, we recommend to use our Frigutec® OAT-EVO.

Frigutec® HDC-SF has no OEM approvals. Frigutec® HDC-SF was specially developed as nitrite-containing engine coolants for heavy-duty engines. As a premium coolant, we recommend it for a wide range of the OEM vehicles and international standards.

Application
Frigutec® HDC-SF offers excellent year-round protection against frost and corrosion.
Frigutec® HDC-SF concentrate must be diluted with water before use.
We recommend a mixing ratio of 50:50 vol.% with demineralised or distilled water. Under no circumstances should Frigutec® HDC-SF be used with less than 33 vol.% or more than 60 vol.%.
