Frigutec® LC 100
Frigutec® LC100 is a premium engine coolant based on 1,2-ethanediol (MEG) that has been specifically developed for the indirect cooling of batteries and battery systems in battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Thanks to its low conductivity (<100 μS/cm), Frigutec® LC100 ensures high thermal stability and electrical safety.
The engine coolant is ready-to-use and provides freezing protection down to -36 °C. It is free of silicates, borates, 2-ethylhexanoic acid, nitrites, amines, and phosphates.
Frigutec® LC100 lays the foundation for reliable and safe thermal management in modern electric vehicles. The ideal operating temperature range for lithium-ion batteries is 15 °C to 30 °C. Temperatures that are too low can cause permanent damage. Temperatures that are too high shorten battery life and reduce efficiency.

Application
Frigutec® LC100 is a ready-to-use mixture and must not be diluted further. Mixing (even in small amounts) with conventional engine coolants or other ion-containing liquids will ruin the low conductivity of <100 μS/cm, thereby rendering it unusable for its intended purpose.
