HVL GmbH was founded in 1994 on the business idea of marketing supposed waste as products. Since then, we have brought hundreds of thousands of tons of waste to market as so-called by-products or unavoidable production residues – practicing sustainability long before anyone was talking about it. We try to make waste that cannot be fed directly into a market usable again through recycling, such as the distillation of solvent waste. If that is not possible, thermal recovery allows the energy content of the waste to be used.
